This was posted on Ponychan a bit ago and there was a song you were to hear while reading it, but I don't have that link. Here you go: BEEP EDIT: Found the song. BOOP
Not really meant to make you feel sad; the story stirs other things that can make a person overwhelmed with emotion.
I think the lesbian bit ruined it otherwise that definitely tops other fanfics I've read thanks for sharing
The post on Ponychan had some song that went with it, which made it twice as sad to be honest. If it weren't for my friends in the room when I originally read it, I probably would have shed a tear. It's terribly sad, but at the same time has a nice ending. Edit: I read again while listening to this, but it just didn't have the impact of the first time. Ah well... Edit 2: Okay, I listened to the original song. Really made a difference. I feel the tears.
Well that hit me hard. Not because of sadness, but because it's so... real. We lose grip on the actual focus of life, and forget to enjoy life itself. Like Grey said, aside from the lesbian reference, it was simply amazing.
I read this before, with the song and it hit me like a brick. It meshed so well together that the only thing that threw me off is the whole lesbian thing. Hmm, Pinkie was first, eh? *sniff*
I cried quite a bit actually. Its just the way that the characters choose to go, The third line up from the bottom gets to me the most.
I didn't feel sad reading this, but that's because I'm a cold, miserable monster. I'm not big on fan fics, but I do give them a chance. The only one I actually liked was cupcakes, so that sums me up! This was good though, not my thing, but well thought out and well written. Definitely a tear jerker for those who actually have a soul.
I almost cried when i read it and heard the song, but when I saw those comments I cried. I can see them as couples due to how close there are, and the fact that most ponies are female in Equestria anyway. MLP is always mainly female due to the fact that it is targeted at young females. So, there are most likely lots of Lesbian couples there. I mean you can even see Dash and AJ as stereotypical Dykes (pardon the word) The're both independent and tomboyish (not that all tomboys are dykes) but if you get what I'm trying to say, It's plausible.
Well, it's not that I'm against lesbianism, but I admit it was a poor choice of words. What I should've said is that the shipping threw me off. Personally, I do not enjoy shipping so having that slipped in there was a little twist to my distaste. Again, it's just my opinion and I don't want to force it on you. I do however apologize if what I said offended you.
