Hello everypony! I'm working on a very large project here. The Ponifacation of Titanic! But I need your help since it is such a large undertaking. Currently I only have a role list. She is rescued in Lifeboat 1 with her husband. Played by Rarity. No husband. • Rochelle Rose as Noël Leslie, Countess of Rothes: The Countess is shown to be friendly with Cal and the DeWitt Bukaters. Despite being of a higher status in society than Sir Cosmo and Lady Duff-Gordon, she is kind, and helps row the boat and even looks after the steerage passengers.- Played by Fluttershy • Scott G. Anderson as Frederick Fleet: The lookout who saw the iceberg. Fleet escapes the sinking ship aboard Lifeboat 6.- Played by Snips, Partner is Snails. • Paul Brightwell as Quartermaster Robert Hichens: One of the ship's 6 quartermasters and was at the ship's wheel at the time of collision. He was in charge of Lifeboat 6. He refused to go back and pick up survivors after the sinking and eventually the boat was commandeered by Margaret "Molly" Brown.- Undecided. • Martin East as Reginald Lee: The other lookout in the crow's nest. He survives the sinking.- Played by Snips. • Simon Crane as Fourth Officer Joseph Boxhall: The officer in charge of firing flares and manning Lifeboat 2 during the sinking. He is shown on the bridge wings helping the seamen firing the flares.- Played by Iron Will. • Gregory Cooke as Jack Phillips: Senior wireless operator on board the Titanic whom Captain Smith ordered to send the distress signal.- Flam • Craig Kelly as Harold Bride: Junior wireless operator on board the Titanic. He survived the sinking.- Flim • Liam Tuohy as Chief Baker Charles Joughin: The baker appears in the film on top of the railing with Jack and Rose as the ship sinks, drinking brandy from a flask. According to the real Joughin's testimony he rode the ship down and stepped into the water without getting his hair wet. He also admitted to hardly feeling the cold, most likely thanks to alcohol- Played by Pinkie Pie. • Terry Forrestal as Chief Engineer Joseph G. Bell: Bell and his men worked until the last minute to keep the lights and the power on in order for distress signals to get out. Bell and all of the engineers died in the bowels of the Titanic.- Played by Trixie. My own Charecters: Little girl that Blueblood will pick up to get on a lifeboat- Dinky, Daughter of Derpy. Mail mare that will try her best but fail to save the mail from the sinking ship- Derpy.
It'll take a lot of time to look into this as I'm very unfamiliar with the movie's cast nowadays. -Prince Blueblood is a great choice for the lead antagonist, but it implies Rarity would be a good choice for Rose Dewitt Bukater. I thought you might use the Mane 6 for the lead two characters. Twilight would be good for Rose with Trixie as Caledon Nathan "Cal" Hockley. (Alternatively, it could be Twixie with Trixie as Rose.) Rainbow Dash would be good for Jack Dawson. It all depends on who you want the lead pairing to be. Lyra & Bon Bon are great and I assume you were at least partially inspired by the picture of them together on the front of the ship holding each other.
As much as I would love Twixie (And I LOVE Twixie) I need it to be Lyra and Bon-Bon. And I was very heavily inspired by that picture and several others dedicated to Lyra and Bon-Bon aboard the Titanic though RD would make an awesome Jack. But in the movie Jack loves to draw hands...Lyra...Hands...*Brony Squeal*
Good similarity. The non-impacting characters can probably be whatever suits them. It doesn't have to be canon influenced in any way. You could put Nightmare Moon or Discord as Cal.
