A Flash of Genius - Really inspiring (true story) about an inventor taking on the establishment (aka Ford Motors). The Matrix - Machines... actually, everyone should know what the matrix is about, its just a thing. xD Watchmen - Dark, awesome movie that really messes with your sense of ethics. Metropolis (both the 1927 film and the 2001 anime) - just a really good sci-fi with lots of religious themes. Deep Impact - the forgotten (and better) asteroid movie that came out the same year as Armageddon. And of course, 2001: A Space Odyssey. The original space science fiction movie, and still one of the best. You can tell I'm heavily biased towards a certain genre lol
