Personally, i'm tired of all this clone wars stuff. They've just been using it as an excuse to keep pushing out Star Wars merchandise for the past 10 years <_<
If this guy didn't have the most bad-ass story arc, I don't know who did. Eh, Ahsoka seemed too much of a self righteous whiny little runt for me. She was there for girls to go "yaaaaaay!" but instead of being a strong female character, she was constantly cocky to an extremely annoying extent, especially since she kept getting into a lot of trouble. Yeah, where's that taunt now that you're tied up and trapped by the bad guy missy? I stopped watching it for a while, mostly because other interests came first. How the heck was Darth Maul brought back to life? And what happens to Ahsoka, does Anakin kill her? 'Cause she sure as hell ain't in Episode III.
Well, that's just business. No matter what, they're going to market the hell out of Star Wars. @Poetic Well if you don't mind the spoilers: Darth Maul kept himself alive through the power of the Dark Side. He made his way to some junkyard of a planet (don't know how), where he used garbage as his lower half and slowly went batsh*t crazy over the years. His brother tracked him down, got some Dathomir witches to heal his insanity and give him new legs, and Maul went after Obi-Wan with his brother being his apprentice. As for Ahsoka, she was framed for murder and left the Jedi Order after being found innocent, having lost faith in them. Therefore, she isn't around when Order 66 was carried out. Whew! That was a lot to write.
They went to Raxus Prime? Cool. Although I always thought using the Dark Side to keep yourself alive was always a lie Palpatine told Anakin to persuade him to become his incredibly powerful apprentice. That's all they could come up with? Laaaaaaaaaaame!
Yeah, I feel the same. They were going to do more, but then they cancelled the show for no particular reason. >.<
first of all the sky is not blye it is a trick of how light works with it.just like water and polar bear fur. second last pope tetured new pope hasn't dobe enough to actually be pope yet so as far as i care he is just interim. let him do pope stuff and wd will see. now for the guy that blames jar jar for everything. he neither new about palpatine back then being a sith lord nor did he actually take credit for defeating all the droids. he is a hero because even tho they exiled him he gladly stood with his people as they fought.for their lives. also jar har was not a govetnment official truly. that was padne amidala. jar jar was only her representative. he served at her side. but jar jar had no.control of most of what went wrong so all im seeing is people who actually hate george lucas whine saying everything he likes is bad rather than stating actual facts. and even now that i tell you why your blaming a gungan who had very little to do with palpatine and his evil. you still will most likely claim the boat you made of swiss cheese has no holes. i created the thread in hopes of bribging a few fans of more things together so that we could have more than ponies in common. you know to find common ground. ut i see noone actually taking the thread serious. if there is a reason pls let me know. other wise pls stop being trolls and contribute actual true and well thought out fact to your accusations that a single gungan broke an old republic that was stagnant a thousand years ago when revan and malak tried to conquer it after the mandalorian wars
You know the only actual Star Wars game I ever played was Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1 but even though Soul Calibur 5 is better I like the fact that Soul Calibur 4 had Darth Vader and Yoda in it as well as Starkiller from The Force Unleashed series in it as well.
Jar Jar Binks is universally hated among Star Wars fans. If you can't accept that fact, perhaps you should not have created this this thread in the first place. It is very petty and childish to cry 'troll' simply because people refuse to agree with your opinions.
im not.crying troll for that. its being a troll to blame a character for being a villian when the actuall facts are that he wasn't even aware of most of what happened. also hate him all you want idc but all im saying is use actual facy if you wanna blame him for why you don't like something. also im also crying troll because like the first pages were 2blah blah i wanna diffrent flavor which is nowhere even on topic. im not calling you a troll for not agreeing. im just asking for a factual bit of content to support your claims as to what sux. i mean i wouldn't expect anyone to take my own opinion without offering some kind of facts to support myself
You yourself labeled this "the general star wars thread", meaning it may be used to discuss anything star wars related. People will have their own opinions just as you have yours. Opinions won't always be based on facts. They don't have to be. That's why they're called opinions. Now, if we can all stop arguing about this we can get back on the topic, enjoy the discussions here, be it serious or silly, and i won't have to lock this thread.
Yes, to turn this thread back on course, enjoy the best lightsaber duel the Clone Wars ever had......in my opinion, anyway.
I think my favorite was the battle between Greivous and the multiple jedi. Wait, that was the cartoon animation one, wasn't it? Ah well, I was far more a fan of that one than the 3D animation one.
Oh, I remember the 2D one. That was really cool, especially with it introducing 3 new villains: Grevious, Assaj Ventress, and Durge (who was ignored the most and never showed up again. >.<). That Grevious should've been the one we gotten in the movie, not the cowardly, coughing, hunched-over version. The only thing I didn't like was how over the top the jedi were presented. As cool as it was, having Mace Windu take out 3000 battle droids all at once with ridiculous force moves was a bit too much. ......geez, I'm too much into Star Wars. :B
Yeah, but c'mon... animated and over-exaggerated by the same team that did Samurai Jack. I loved that! It was like watching an animated version of Dynasty Warriors with Jedi!
i" i remember that. it was amazing. an ithorian jedi who uses force scream vs a version of grievous who used only 2 arms and his feet for his sabers. also loved how they handled some of the clones
Shouldn't the question be "Who here doesn't like Star Wars?" It's Star Wars, We are nerds, 2 peas in a pod
Well they cant use Mickey unless they explain how he got transported into kingdom hearts and Starwars. He's like the most powerful character if he would be in Starwars.....sadly. Though he was cool in KH.
if they do this then the frozen brain of walt disney will break free of his cryo chamber and telepathucly strangle the lott of the disney employees he encoubters in a sadnes filled need for retribution after what they did to his company
