So this is a thread to discuss the Great tv show (well perhaps not the first series) that is Blackadder. A show that contained some of Britain's media icons. Such as Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Tony Robinson and of course Rowan Atkinson as the titular character Blackadder. For those who have not heard of the show. It is basically a comedy series about the Blackadder family throughout history. Each series is based in a different time period. The first (and considered the worst) series is set in Medieval times. The second series is based around the Tudor period when queen Elizabeth the 1st was on the throne, The third set in Georgian England and the fourth set in the British trenches of world war one. The last series also had (in my opinion) the most iconic scene in British TV history at the end of the final episode. Here are the first episode of every series (apart from the first because it was rubbish and had a Blackadder that was nothing like the following three). They also produced three specials. A Blackadder Christmas carol, Blackadder: the cavalier years and Blackadder back and forth. Man, this show was good. The specials were terrible. But eh, they Were specials. Blackadder 2 was always my favourite. Goes fourth is a close second for me.
