I knew about the movie, but not that it was specifically gonna be about Human Revolution. The only reason why i would understand why they'd give Bale the role is because his voice sounds similar, but that's about it.

I haven't played Deus Ex, but it seems like it can be a movie. It'll probably be terrible though, like all video game movies (besides the rare exception, like Silent Hill and Prince of Persia)

I'm more concerned that two of my favorite games, Uncharted and Shadow of the Colossus, are getting movies......oh no.....

Human Revolution has had at least one problem laid at its feet in its story to my knowledge and that would be that it doesn't contain a moment of true emutional climax. Its all well done but there doesn't seem to be a point of creshendo that's relevant to tue story excet a certain death. Maybe being put in the middle of an anti-aug riot could be an interesting angle the movie could use. Or maybe showing us these thugs that steal augs from people like bike tires. Telling us about it hasn't the same effect and happens off screen too much.

I'm causiously opptomistic on this film. If it can show us the grittier side of this world that the game didn't, we might have the first, really good Video Game Movie.
