Hey everypony! I was going to start watching doctor who, But i don't know which episode to start with? It would be awesome if somepony told me! Respond ASAP!
Netflix is where I watch it. I would suggest you start with Season 9, as that's when the show was resurrected. All of the seasons before that are outdated, but some of them are still pretty good! Sorta like season 6, that was just scary. David Tennant is best doctor. (Season 10)
Start with the episode "Susan" :Trollestia: Nah joking, the first generations of doctors were good for their time, but nowadays they aren't as exciting and captivating as they were back then. I'd check out some Tom Baker or some Peter Davidson episodes if you get the chance though. Like testy, I recommend you start with "Rose" because that sets the scene, and is basically where this latest generation of Whovians started. The Christopher Eccleston series were great, David Tennant is just, stunning, I mean, season 4 of the new series had me practically drooling with fancolt stuff. Matt Smith's "ok" but I'd watch the other series first, because they tend to have better storylines and monsters. ~Moved to Media Discussion~
It's probably best to start at the first episode of the resurrected Doctor Who series (Rose) as it really does set the scene. I personally feel that starting at acclaimed episodes such as 'Blink', 'Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead' or 'Human Nature/Family Of Blood' is a bad idea as it's throwing you head first into the world and you may need some background knowledge of the world of Doctor Who to fully appreciate episodes such as these. That being said, I certainly didn't start at Rose, I started midway (I do not recall the episode).
just jump in randomly thats what I did and now I am the biggest fan I can't remember my first, it was a tennant episode though
I started with Season 5-Episode 1- The 11th Hour My friend who really likes doctor who suggested starting there, and it worked out so yeah
