"And bronies - hang out too (come on bronies) cause they know we're awesome fillies" If that's not a shout-out I don't know what is
Gah, Pon three? Just putting emphasis on the E would be enough (well referring to her as Dj Pony in general since her official name is Vinyl Scratch), does anyone actually pronounce it like that?
Well... they are aware of the bronies, but that doesn't mean they fully understand where our words come from and what some of the stuff we say means.
I am extremely interested in Season 2, since that was wrote with them knowing the success of their show on the internet. Unlike Season 1. Hm.
When Sedaheht first recomended that I see this video (back when it was only the 31 second version) and told me that it's based off a Katy Perry song I thought "I guess I'll watch it. It's probably not even worth it." But I was so wrong! I've seen it four times already! It's that good, I got to say! Thank Celestia they blessed us with an extended version, too! I wonder if this will ever be made in to a full-length parody based on the actual song, and released as an MP3? If this is done, It's going on my MP3 player in a heartbeat! You can count on that! That is awesome how the song mentions "Bronies"! And yeah, DJ-PON-three? DJ-PON-ee sounds alot better, yet I still call him/her Vinyl Scratch! Let's hope Hasbro continues to make more of these song parodies like this. That will definitley get us pumped for the coming second season, for sure! *starts singing it* "Equestria girls. Were kinds magical! boots on hooves, bikinis on top!...
What's with the "Bikinis on top" thing? That is an article of clothing never once shown on them, I don't think it'd be possible to make a pony bikini
You called? Jokes aside (and I did cut that quote in my Wii), I've yet to see it. Why? I'll most likely hate it, just like most songs with lyrics. And just because of that.
Honestly the original choice of song is really bad, it's a cover of California Gurls by Katie Parey (who I'm still wondering who she's gotten famous when she can't perform a single one of her songs live). If it wasn't for ponies I'd never even consider listening to the whole song
It probably comes as no surprise that Danny Ingram had nothing to do with the parody. Its worth mentioning because in "The Fan" interview, he officially states that it was done entirely by the HUB (and therefore not Hasbro). Something everypony probably already knew but whatever lol.
Seeing as most Ingram songs are in a little "higher" taste of parody matter I don't think that's too surprising haha
Oh, I missed this thread. Great song, waiting for the full version. Kickflank. Best parody ever. Kind of epic, for some reason. Winning like Charlie Sheen. Awesome face-tastic. Chuck Norris can't compare. This Rickroll'd Rick Astley. All in all, too Colorful Rainbowing sweet. Anyways, you might want to check the update down below at the Announcement thread.
It is my favourite song with ponies and one of most favourite songs at all... But it's too short! They should make second verse and verse, singed/rapped/speaked (how to name it?) oryginally by Snoop Dogg. But it is fantastic! And there should be more pony parodies of other songs... (ponies could create a band "Blue Eyed Ponies", referring to Black Eyed Peas; (Pinkie Pie, Rarity... and 2 male ponies with blue eyes) )
