It's that time of the year again with Scott Mills doing England's semi-final coverage. Though I watch it every year I have yet too see most of this years entries. Tis year I have high hopes for Slovenia who's hopefully going to win this while us Brits are stuck with a rubbish entry. Anyway what do you think of this years acts and also this is the place to discuss the good, the bad and the downright weird of eurovison past.

My choice for winning this (so far):

I've lost a lot of interest in Eurovision. Block voting has ruined it for me and some entries rely more on choreography than actual singing for points.

Australia manages to get Eurovision on a channel known as SBS, and that there is a whole hype for it on the channel to gain more overseas viewers. Views here are not enormous when compared to Europe, but it's kinda interesting nonetheless.

Bumping this to gloat over somebody else's achievements on behalf of the country in which I live.

Party in CPH in a year. I'm assuming you'll all be there.

(I am going to hate that song so much for the next couple of months.)

The BBC/British eurovision thing needs to understand that people with a large fan base in the 70's- 80's are NOT popular now. Get the Americans to do it for us because the last time we won in 1997 was With Katrina and the waves who wrote walking on sunshine and who were also American.
