Considering how hard it was to level him up once to even get him, i figured "why bother"? There's plenty of other fish in the sea.
Because he has Aptitude, giving +20% to all of his growths, giving him about 80-90% stat growths in the ones that matter most, and 105% in HP. He is easily the most overpowered unit for the main game. I've had plenty of perfect levels with him (+1 in every stat) and even a couple where he got +2 in HP and +1 in everything else. Plus he passes on the Pegasus Knight class to female children who would otherwise not have access to Galeforce (Dark Flier Lv15). He can also pass Counter, Wrath, Axefaire, or even Aptitude down to his kid.
He has a pot on his head, no matter what class he is. And don't get me started on the purple hair. He's awesome fo' sho'.
I used Donnel in my old file just to see how powerful he'd get. Like most units, once he gets past "that certain level" he's more than capable of taking care of himself. He's not weak, he's just boring and needs too much attention before he becomes usable. In my hard mode file I never touched him. I think he's just there so players can pass on his Aptitude skill.
I can't hear you over the sound of Donnel carrying my entire army and soloing maps with a forged Short Axe.
Then again, Donnel's fallen behind by now due to his pretty low caps. Still usable, but not fantastic anymore. He's no Inigo/Severa.

Lucina is a steamroller on my hard mode file. I don't even get how she's allowed to dish out so much damage and take so little. And proccing Aether on every other battle is just unfair. Chrom doesn't get any EXP when she's around.
Marrying Lucina gets you God Morgan. Give her Limit Breaker and it's not even funny how hard she kills everyone.
I haven't gotten Morgan yet on this file. His paralogue killed me too much. D: I'm gonna try again soon though. If I could do Nightwing's paralogue, I can do this one. Could be after two more days of resetting, but by the gods I'll f**king do it.
