Crni leptir - Yu Grupa - the sweetest guitar intro/solo I've ever heard to be honest. This song is so good that it got the title of "first song to be learned on the guitar" for the Yugoslovenian countries - it's so simple yet so complex. The best way to explain it is this: "The beauty of the street lamp attracts the butterfly, yet it's the main reason why the butterfly dies" (this is basically what the first verse says). All in all, the greatest rock song for me.

Dino Merlin - Smijehom strah pokrijem - directly explains the hell that has been going on in Yugoslavia in the late 90's - but that's not the reason why i like it so much. I remember a simpler time (with no pcs) when this song was on the tv all the time (1999). I was 4 or 5 years old... I'd give everything just so we had no PCs anymore. Technology might get better and better, but indeed the time in which we live in gets worse and worse - not because we grow up, but... the time's like that. Music is almost dead at this point, movies are all about shooting and killing and bam bam bum, games are the same, hardly going out to play because of the pcs... Basically, Technology has exceeded our humanity.

Before my post becomes a hate-on-modern-times post, i'll stop.

Oooh! This thread looks like fun! Let's have some!

Now, don't go anywhere while I sing my favorite Spanish song ever! :D

(It will be interesting to see if I can sing it without an American accent, for anyone who is actually from Spain (Rain Lullaby))

But yeah, in reality it will be like a day or two before I'm done, and it'll prolly be pretty mediocre. But I'm gonna do it anyways! ^^

Well, uhm, good non-english music?
That`s easy!
Here, take a look at my favourite band and some of their songs! (But I must say that I just remembered they sing both german and english. Hope that`s ok anyways... ;-) )

And now, fillies and gentlecolts, let me introduce to you...

Okay then, there's this J-rock band appropriately called One-Ok-Rock (Often the lyrics for their songs are half-english, half Japanese, or at least the ones I've heard), and i blooming love them:

(Oh yeah, and the singer is a freaking maniac with that microphone, and he swings it about like that in pretty much every single song...even live...One day someone's losing an eye to that thing.)
