Once upon a time, in a small town named Jheraville, lived a man, named Jhera. People often thought his name was Jahera, and he hated this fact. He often went into a nearby forest, and pondered upon utmost important things, the most common being his name constantly being said wrong. He ventured further into the forest than ever before one day, and found a strange looking tree, with a hole in the side. He was getting tired, and there was just enough time for him to take a lazy nap in the tree's crevice. He laid down in the hole, and fell asleep. He tossed and turned as time passed, and at one point, he became rather uncomfortable, but he slept through it all. He woke up, and noticed that it was morning! He rushed out if the hole, which seemed much bigger than he remembered. He also felt off balance, and looked down. "Wha- what is this?! What happened to my hand? It's a hoof!" His voice was also a bit higher than he remembered, but he shrugged that off, as it was nothing compared to having a hoof! He walked around, and saw his tail. It was a bit curvy, and had a deep purple hue. He tried wagging it, and got a better view. It was not only curvy, but it had little tufts of hair sticking up, like tiny spikes. He tried to lay it flat, but it kept popping back up. He saw the length of his body, and it was a deep green! It was also, very different looking. it had more width than height. He also looked up, and saw what he thought was his new hair was similar in color and form to his tail. "Am, am I a pony now? My voice is so high now too! How can I talk if I'm a HORSE?!" He looked around, and saw a small pool nearby. He walked, or trotted to it. When he looked in, he saw a female looking pony, and he jumped a bit back and screamed. "THIS IS AN ABOMINATION!" He was getting deeply confused. He decided to find his way back to town. "Man this is awkward" he thought to himself. "I randomly became a pony, and a female one at that" He kept walking along, and he had finally found a better lit area. He could see the trees now, and he swore they looked a bit different than before. Nevertheless, he kept walking, an eventually found the exit. He was astonished by what he saw. Before him were small houses, and some other ponies walking around. The houses were beautifully painted with every color imaginable. There was even a house that looked like a gingerbread house! He walked closer to one of the closest ponies, one that was almost entirely pink. "Uh, hello? I'm lost, can I get the name of this to-" "OH MY GOSH!" The pink pony ran away, and feeling disheartened, he found a bench nearby, and sat down in it. Another milky green pony came by, and saw him sitting on the bench. He could see a horn on her head, and checked if he had one, and surprisingly he did! "Whoa! Another pony that sits like me! You don't know how many times I've been told I'm weird for sitting like this" and she sat down next to him. "Well, I've always sat like this, how do others sit?" He replied. "Well, see this ponies over there? They lay on their stomachs" she said. "Huh, weird, I should try it sometime" he shuffled around, feeling awkward talking to a pony, as a pony. "So, I'm new around here, can you tell me where I am? I was brought here by something magical, I just know it." "Well, we're in Ponyville! If its magic you want, then come with me to the library, Twilight knows a lot about magic." She got off the bench and started walking away. "Follow me!" He also got off the bench, and followed the pony. He had just noticed the lyre on her flank. Chapter end
