Oh! I had to read Jurassic Park in high school. It was amazing, but I agree it was definitely more gory than the movie.

I just finished The Master and Margarita. I wonder how many of you know what it actually is.

I've got a couple of things on the go. Not because I'm like a junky of the page, more that I've lost one book and picked up another.

Artemis Foul and the Atlantis Complex: I rather like Eoin Colfer's little world of super advanced fairies. Harry Potter and the like has shoved it to the side somewhat but the odd mixture of Sci-fi and Fantasy makes for a good read. It's good. I fear the Atlantis Complex (a mental disability supposedly similar to Multiple Personality Disorder that is present in reformed criminals) is mainly a way of slowing the pace of the book down by limiting the amount of time Artemis can spend solving problems to the bare minimum but it does give the opportunity to annoy Hollly with a possibility of romance. It's fun to watch the cringing. Orion's kind of annoyingly goofy otherwise. I also get the feeling the villain only manages anything just because Artemis is out of the way, possibly conveniently. Although, you might say that there have been plenty of mentally ill characters that are only mentally ill to serve the plot. Hanibal Lector gave just enough to get to the next part of the puzzle, never anything more to keep the pace at just the right amount. Renfield in Dracula is used to spark the trail for the vampire again at a quiet trough in events.

Weird and Wacky Websites: A book I was given recently. It's nice to flick through but I really do need to flick through with a laptop other wise I might as well not bother. It's got a nice sense of humour though.

I'm thinking maybe some Asimov...Or something with a heavy crossing timeline plot where different dimensions of the same character overlap.

Just Googled 'The Master and Margarita'. Nope, never heard of it either. Satire of the 1930's Soviet Union a particular favourite?

Go! Go find it. I still think 'The Supernaturalists' is the best with 'The Wish List' a close second.

Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, it is an amazing story. Much of it is very grimdark.
It's kinda a love story but is really sad cause the two main characters who are lovers are constantly separated.

I'm reading The Scorch Trials! It's the second in the Maze Runner trilogy. I need to read it quickly since the 3rd book just came out. It's so stressful, though. hahaha

I started 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' today, and like the original it uses a lot of scientific explanations which I love. From what i've heard Michael Crichton's novels are similar like that; I must check out his other stuff.

He was pronounced dead by mistake

The last book I read was 'How to Think About the Great Ideas' by Mortimer J. Adler. A fascinating read if you enjoy philosophy.
Right now, I am just starting 'Mass Effect: Retribution' by Drew Karpyshyn and 'A Brief History of the Paradox' by Roy Sorensen.

I just finished "The Dilbert Future" by Scott Adams. Very funny and thought provoking at times. I think I'll re-read the Animals of Farthing Wood next.

Welp, finished The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene a coupla days ago - a lot of the second half went over my head, but I think it was definitely a worthwhile read.

About halfway through A Farewell To Arms now, and I'm absolutely adoring it. I've never read Hemingway before, but his descriptive prose is beautiful.
