Come ooon....we need 3 more ponies! EDIT:***************************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The matchmaking thing is ***************!!!!!!!!1111
GOD DANg GIT YOU BEAT ME TO THE CHASE!!! FUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!! ;~; and i worked so hard to put mine together.
Mann Versus Machine!! Oh god yes! So i tried MVM and here is my opinion: I went into TF2 and tried to join a game, i clicked CO-OP on the main menu, chose community games since the official servers cost money, clicked all maps, then started a search... queue time was over 30 minutes an rising... my reaction "oh 10 minutes that's f-30 min-45! no-55!!!! FUUUUU!!!!!". way to much time to join a server and only play once. then joining the server itself is a battle, you have to join in fast else your spot is taken. your computer loads too slowly and your f***ed. Dear god... the max servers in the game right now are over 1,250, and that is still not enough to handle the amount of players... which by my math pushing, was more than 25,000 player! OMG IT WAS SOOOO PACKED!!! EVEN THE FRICKING PRIVATE SERVER FOR THE BRONY SHOW WAS FILLED!!! HACKED!!! PRIVATE SERVER FOR ONLY THOSE PRIVILEGED!(could have been people who requested, but it still was odd since none of them looked to be bronies) guh... it killed me to wait so long... I waited for an hour to join in a game, and when i joined... the tf2 servers crashed... kicking me out... 1 hour for nothing! afterwards i did a manual check and by all luck, got myself a spot. i spectated for 25 minutes before it was my turn to play, and may i say, its amazingly fun. think of it as Killing floor mixed with TF2's Payload. You have survives Wave after wave of Robots, getting a certain amount of time between each wave to upgrade and buy things, all the while keeping a bomb from getting to its destination. Onto the backstory of MVM, or Mann versus Machine. It takes place 150 years in the future, when Redmond and Blutarch (Red and Blu), are very old and on life support. Redmond and Blutarch, who had never married or had children of their own, have no heir to carry on their never ending battle. with no possible solution to the battle or no one to take their place, they make a truce... then decide to make a robot to make them pregnant.... what? Anyways, once they make this truce, their long lost brother, Graymann, returns swiftly and quietly as a spy would, informing the two brothers of his disappearance, Which was caused by a large eagle infestation that carried graymann off and took him in as a child, who Graymann then ate... oh and by the way, Graymann learned to talk while in his mother's womb... who died trying to give birth to the three of them... Anyways, Graymann informs the two brothers that the truce was deviously created by him so he could create a robot army to take over the Mann co company. He then stabbed and killed both Redmond and Blutarch, which ends chapter one. In chapter two, it starts off letting us know that aliens can breath cause of flourine and hot babes with jiggly... nvm... long story short, Mr. Mann, the hairy chested super tough guy we know, tells both red team and blu team to fight this robot army if they wanted to keep their jobs, while fighting a yeti... and recording a show... Miss Pauling, who then harshly rejects the Scout for whatever reason i do not know, informs them they will not be payed because the machines run on money and they can pick up left overs from the carnage they will most likely create. which ends chapter 2. Overall the story helps piece together what MVM is about, but is very random and hard to understand. out of 100: Playability:20 (takes too long to join.) gameplay: 85 (once you start playing, its too much fun.) back-Story:75 (its fun, as well as funny, and gives us how MVM came to be.) Overall: 60 (the gamemode is great and will keep you going, but just being able to start playing is too much of a hassle, it's not worth the time to wait.) Once my friends had a wiff of this, i was being bombarded with requests to play... knowing the queue time for one is 30 minutes average, queue time for 6... yeah right. my honest reaction: - - - Double Post Auto Merge - - - Placed thread in the wrong placed, must move!
Queued for an estimated two hours if I decided to wait on an MvM server. I think I'll be waiting for a little bit before trying again.
I played ONE round. Beat it eventually, all the afk people left. Then I waited and waited, FINALLY got another one... kicked in a minute due to Connection Issues.
