Your playabilty arguments are invalid. It's TF2, when a major update comes out having long wait times and crashing servers is normal.
I've never had that issue before in any update other than this, i have no idea what you are talking about. even in some of the major updates that never happened for me. I guess i'm used manually finding servers, not using the quick join features. I'm Old school, so i just click join server then choose for myself. I got TF2 before it was Free to Play, hence why i use the server list instead of the quick join. My argument is still valid, I took a whole day to get in a few rounds. i only got in 6 rounds.
Your argument is still invalid. you've got thousands of players and a limited amount servers to play with no know when a game is going to end. It's a new game mode, everybody is freaking out and trying to get their hands on it. Give it a few days, and it'll cool off and the wait times will go down a bit.
If you read my thread, you would understand that its not official MANN Co. servers... all the server are community based and the number rises everyday. at this current moment there about about 1,500 MVM servers all by the community. while Mann Co. only has about 250 for their private games. whatever. My argument is invalid. you are right.
You beat me to the chase, so mine would be a duplicate of yours. remember? they don't like two threads that are the same. plus, mine got no attention, only some negative comments on my opinions.
they need to have UPNP ability, so people can party up with friends and join instantly. it would cut down on the need for multiple dedicated servers and relies more on connecting people together.
I agree with this. We a nice group of 4 from Everypony, and we were all wondering why we couldn't just jump into our own private game.
Here's an update for alla y'all: The Coalmine map is bugged. Whenever a tank comes in, it causes the server to lag like nobody's business. Just...don't play that map until it's fixed.
Actually it is possible to privatize a server for ourselves. i will ask a friend of mine if its possible to privatize a server so we can quickly join. If all else fails, we could just use hamachi or something similar.
Hmm... I could just get our little group, then invite people from my friend list. One of my skype friends wanted a quick game with me, I could get him.
