I'm doing a fanfic where my SC2 team (Team Drone Face) get's thrust into the MLPFIM Universe. Five of us are Bronies, while two hate the show. I just finished the Prologue, so I'm gonna be writing more everyday. Let me know what you think
LINK AWAY!!! Don't worry about being judged here... The worst we'll probably do is help with some pointers or demand more.
Well we can't really tell you what we think without something to read, but I look forward to seeing how the pony haters react lol
might as well just post the prologue for now. It should be noted that I have not written anything in awhile, so my style is kinda rusty. Don't judge it too hardly... AtillaDaHun (Kitt) (P) has joined the game Ptaz (Ptaz) (T) has joined the game TheTrueValdo (Valdo) (T) has joined the game Maegord (Maegord) (Z) has joined the game Ozymandias (Jeanne) (P) has joined the game Spellsinger (Singer) (Z) has joined the game NinjaNamedWaldo (Benji) (P) has joined the game The game started like any other troll game in StarCraft II; pick the best player and rush him with all the workers until he’s dead. Simple enough. This time, the best player happened to be AtillaDaHun, or Kit as he was known in “Team Drone Face.” The “Rush Kitt” channel had been opened and the game was underway. Kit knew there was nothing he could do to stop the incoming worker rush, but that didn’t mean he would go down without a fight. ‘I might even take Benji out, although, that’s not really saying much’ he thought to himself. ANinjaNamedWaldo, or Benji as everyone called him, was easily the weakest member of the team, with barely any experience or strategy; he lost most of his games. As Kit saw the advancing worker army near his base, he pulled all of his probes from his mineral line to attempt to take out as many enemy workers as humanly possible. He micro’d masterfully, but in the end, the sheer numbers of enemies was too much, and he eventually fell. Watching his base get destroyed by workers was all he could do. Once the base had fallen, the other players turned on one another. Each one Microing their units as to minimize losses, the little skirmishes lasted for minutes before the resident troll of Team Drone Face noticed something was off. “Where the hell is Benji?” Maegord asked everyone in the chat channel. Each one took a moment to survey their surroundings when they realized that something horrible was about to happen. “RUSH HIM NOW” yelled a frantic Ptaz yelled as the players that were once trying to eliminate each other were now working together to prevent something that was supposed to be impossible from happening. When the workers arrived at his base, they witnessed the most horrifying thing any of them had ever seen; six fully operational Warp Gates with a Dark Shrine about to finish warping in. The remaining payers decided to take a tactical retreat and fled in hopes of somehow going back to their respective bases and try to catch up. When they neared the ruins of Kit’s base, they noticed a line of shimmering light near the exit of the destroyed base. “When did they get there?” asked a clearly disturbed Valdo. They tried to turn around and go out the entrance but were cut off by two force fields that completely boxed them in. The members of Team Drone Face noticed the floating pylon that rested in the center of Kitt’s destroyed base. Just as soon as they noticed it, six units started to warp in. As soon as the animation was over, all that could be seen by the team was the eerie shimmer of light that was reflected off of the Dark Templars armor. Fear was what went through all of the remaining players’ minds. Fear of the unknown; fear of something that should have been impossible happening right before their eyes. Benji was about to win a game against all of the Team, without any sort of help. The Dark Templars charged into the group of workers, destroying everything in their paths. When it was over, all that was left of the workers were a pile of destroyed units. If anyone could see all of the players’ faces, they would all have the same expression of shock, save for one who was wearing a triumphant look that was overflowing with confidence. “What just… I don’t even… Oh. My. !@#$” Jeanne mumbled out looking on in sheer disbelief at the events that just took place. “Wow, good job Benji” A feminine voice that belonged to Spellsinger cheered. “What the hell! I don’t even…” The troll Maegord said into his mic. The rest of the members were speechless. The one who was surprised the most was Benji. Coming to the realization of what had just occurred sent him into shock. None of the team noticed the dim glow that started to envelope their computers. An error screen appeared on everyone’s screen. “The Program Universe.exe has encountered a problem and must be closed.” The collective thought going through everyone’s head was: “What the…” None of them finished the thought as the dim glow that had canvased their computers started to shine with great intensity while slowly expanding. The light became too much to look at, and exploded in a beautiful display of colors encompassing the entire room. When the explosion ended and the light died down, the room was empty.
