Hey everypony I just wanted to say that if some of you are stuck with an idea for a story and do not know how to write it I would be willing to give it a shot, and a wild shot at that. All I would need is to have all of the background information about the story and if it is set in future past present, or other-this does occur I have noticed. I have also noticed that not many ponies get into reading some of fanfics in here, I'm not trying to call anypony out just stating a fact that it is kind of sad that some of these stories do not get the feedback they need. I am just trying to draw some attention to this point. Again if you need me to write a story for you I am here since my first chapter was to me at any rate a success. Now to organize the next chapter and then get started on the third.

Here it is Spoiler Friendship is Magic Buck to the Future Chapter 1 ~about 1000 years ago~ “Whoa! Easy there, mate!” Slowly backing away, the lightbrown earth pony negotiated with the two white pegasus guards who were chasing him through the halls of Canterlot. “You had no permission to be inside Canterlot library. Return the book you stole, come quietly, and we may consider a lighter punishment!” one of the pegasus stated. “Wait… this? This is my book, I had it with me. Listen, it was just a mistake!” the brown earth pony reasoned. Deciding not to take much more risks, he ran for it and dissapeared around the corner, closely followed by the two guards, but the earth pony was nowhere in sight, as if he vanished into thin air. ~The present day~ “Spike!” Twilight yelled, but didn’t get a response. Then again, she never had much patience. “Spiiiiike!?” Walking downstairs from the upper floor of her library, she spotted Spike sleeping on the floor with his hand still on the doorknob. Obviously he was once again so exhausted he barely managed to close the door before falling asleep last night. Twilight as usual disregarded his lack of rest and used her magic to lift him off the ground and wake him up. “Spike? Can you check the mail? I’m expecting something important, you know that, right?” Twilight commanded while she resumed her paperwork from last night. “Why always so early…” Spike asked himself, still half asleep as he opened the door and poked his head outside. The morning chill didn’t do much to wake him up, but he felt the cold wind nonetheless as he walked closer towards the mailbox. “Dear Princess Celestia, There seems to be no end to these vicious nightmares i’ve been having. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but does this book you’re sending me really have a remedy? There seems to be far more to these nightmares than I originally thought. They’re almost like a vision of the future at times. I keep seeing things that never happened. I hope this book of yours will arrive soon, and i will make sure to send it back in proper condition. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.” After laying down her quill, a loud thud coming from outside got the purple unicorn’s attention as she followed her assistant outside only to see him lying in the grass with a bump on his head, and a large brown envelope next to him. “Spike, I told you to be careful. This is a book from Princess Celestia’s private collection. We need to handle it with care!” Twilight said. “You tell that to the mailpony who dropped it on my head…” Spike replied as sceptical as usual. Not wanting to wait around any longer, Twilight used her magic to pick up both Spike and the envelope. Once inside, she dropped Spike in mid-air and held the envelope infront of her, ripping it to shreds and placing the contents of it on her desk. She was shocked to find the book to be so old and worn out. It was practically falling appart. After a closer look, some pages seemed to be loose or even missing. “And you said I had to be careful with it? Look what your shredding spell did to it!” Spike accused. “Oh please, this wasn’t my fault. This book is just old. According to Princess Celestia, it was written over a thousand years ago.” Twilight explained. “But I did expect it to be in a slightly better condition…” “A book like this must have already been a thousand years old a thousand years ago.” Spike added as Twilight started flipping through the pages, careful not to rip them out by accident. ~ ~ ~ Many days passed as Twilight studied the book carefully. It takes time if the pages are barely readable. Her absence over the past few days raised certain questions with her friends. They were either worried or just curious as to why she hadn’t shown herself lately. “I’m sure she’s just fine, y’all! Let’s just go an’ take a peek.” Applejack said, followed by the rest of Twilight’s circle of friends. “B-but… m-maybe she was attacked by a… a dragon… or a bear? W-what if she’s hurt?” Fluttershy worried. “Or maybe SHE attacked a dragon!” Pinkie added, as she bounced passed Fluttershy and towards Rarity. “Dear, would you start making sense already? She’s obviously just stuck inside her books again.” Rarity replied, rolling her eyes at Pinkie’s random comments. Approaching their friend’s library, they found the door half opened, and the library itself a mess. Applejack was the first to poke her head inside. “Twilight? Spike? Anyone here?” Applejack asked quietly, not meaning to intrude. Her subtlety was litteraly shoved aside as Pinkie abruptly smashed the door open and bounced inside. Rarity and Fluttershy followed, carefully stepping over Applejack who was forced to the ground as the rest walked inside before she did. Applejack stood up, dusting herself off when they heard a voice. “Thank goodness you’re all here!” Spike yelled from the back of the library, carrying a large pile of books around while struggling to keep his balance. “Gimme a hand!” “What in tarnation is goin’ on in here?” Applejack asked in amazement, even though it wasn’t really anything they weren’t used to. “Twilight’s been acting crazy the past few days! She’s been ordering me around to find all kinds of stuff.” Spike explained, pointing to a weird circle drawn on the ground just outside the library, along with the objects he was sent to find, placed around the circle. “So far i’ve got a set of apples, a jar of butterflies, several balloons, and a pile of… yummy, delicious, sparkly---“ Spike said, being distracted by his favorite snack. “Spike! Don’t even think about it. We need those!” Twilight yelled as she came downstairs. “Good timing, you’re all here. I was just about to ask Spike to get you all.” She added as she saw her friends. “Wait… where’s Rainbow Dash?” Twilight asked when she noticed her missing from the group. “I’ll go find her…” Spike sighed as he walked outside. “Darling, just what is going on here? You’re usually never this… excited?” Rarity asked. “Ooh! Ooh! Is it a surprise party? It must be, why else would you be excited, and have balloons and apples and gems and---“ “Pinkie, it’s not a party...” Twilight interrupted. “Girls, this is a ritual circle. I’m trying to perfect an extremely dangerous spell, and apparently it won’t even work without the Elements of Harmony, but they’re all at Canterlot, so I was hoping it would work with the next best thing i could find. I’ll also be needing the essence of each Element.” “So what is this new trick o’ yours?” Applejack inquired. “Time travelling!” Twilight responded exitedly. Mostly everyone else seemed less excited, but as usual Pinkie wasn’t even phased by the revelation, if she was even paying attention. “Ain’t that a mite dangerous, Twi?” Applejack asked worriedly. “Honestly, i doubt it’ll even work.” Rarity assured her. Nevertheless, they all helped Twilight in setting up the ritual for time travelling while they waited for the last thing that was needed. While they had all representations of the Elements ready to go, the only thing they were missing was a dash of rainbow. It didn’t take much longer as their most loyal of friends descended from the sky. “Rainbow, where have you been all day?” Twilight asked her as soon as she landed. “Where have I been? What about you? You were gone for days!” Rainbow Dash replied. “For your information, i was busy practicing my moves when Spike pulled me out of the sky!” “How did Spike pull you out of the sky?” Fluttershy asked her in confusion. “She was sleeping on a tree branch…” Spike’s skeptical voice came from behind them. “Details, shmetails! Whaddaya need me for anyway?” Rainbow Dash asked, trying to change the subject. ~~~ Explaining the situation to Rainbow Dash, the group was making the final preparations for their journey through time. Twilight had already told them all about her dreams before, and they were more than willing to help her. They had no idea how a journey through time was going to fix anything, and neither did Twilight. But their trust for Princess Celestia was great, and she had never let them down before. If no one else, the princess knew what she was doing. “Now, we don’t have all of the requirements the books says we need, but i’m confident we can pull it off with a bit of improvisation. Alright, role check!” Twilight announced. “CUTIE MARK CRUSADER LIBRARIANS, YAY!!” “Cutie Mark Crusader’s fillysitter… Ready...” Spike said, wondering how he got stuck with the worst of duties again. As for the rest of them, they were as ready as they’ll ever be. With Twilight in the middle of the circle, surrounded by her friends and their Element’s replacements. “Allright, step one! Everyone concentrate!” Twilight exclaimed. “Step two. Sonic Rainboom!” She continued, as Rainbow Dash nodded and flew up fast, gaining more speed. “Step three. Cheering!” “Ya can do it, Rainbow!” “Go, darling, go!” “Yay…” “Ooh, skittles! …I mean, GO DASHIE!” After reaching a high enough altitude, Rainbow Dash plunged back down faster than ever, and caused a Sonic Rainboom just before hitting the ground. After the following shockwave, the six ponies were nowhere to be seen. ~~~ “Whoa… Did it work?” Rainbow Dash asked, picking herself off the ground, rubbing her forehead. She felt like she actually hit the ground earlier. “Well, Canterlot is right there, but… where’s Ponyville!?” Twilight asked. “We should have arrived in the same place from where we left.” “I’m thinkin’ the real question here is when we are, not where.” Applejack added. “Exactly how far were we supposed to be goin’ back anyway?” “I…I assumed Princess Celestia’s intention was to send us back some time before Nightmare Moon came back, but… I just don’t know anymore.” Twilight responded, slightly confused. “C-can we go home now?” Fluttershy asked, worried about… well, everything that was going on, really. “No worries, the book’s summary says there’s a spell to return us back to… uh oh…” Twilight said, flipping through the pages like a maniac. She eventually came to a conclusion nopony was going to like. “I don’t wanna cause a panic, but it seems I forgot about the pages this book was missing before…” “We’re stuck here, aren’t we?” Rarity responded as if she wasn’t surprised at all. Fluttershy’s reaction was quite the opposite. The echo of her high-pitched shriek startled the animals that occupied the valley where Ponyville would be built at some point, in the future that was so far away now... End Chapter 1 The format on these forums is different, so the paragraphs got somewhat messed up when i copy/pasted it on here, but i fixed up most of it.
Sick, in a good way. you really managed to capture the essence of the characters in this story, which in itself is unique and interesting. Keep it up I do not see any problems what so ever flows very good great transitions too.
In that case i'll definetly give chapter 2 a shot sometime next week. thx for the comments. :derpe: I'll probably only post the story in the fanfic section when it's completely finished though. I planned it to have about 9-10 chapters. I also just noticed i tend to over-use the words "as usual", so i'll be editting a couple of those out.
If you want to give my fanfic a quick read "Avengers of the Past" leave a comment of what you think of it. Mine is divided up into three possibly four parts with at minimum three chapters each.
I just gave it a quick glance, but i'll read it more thouroughly tommorow, and post some comments then. I'm a bit too tired now to focus on reading.

Ok, I don't need help, I just need an opinion. Do you think anypony would be interested in reading a slightly different kind of short? My plan is to "Re-write" the first two episodes of FiM, but in a way that non-bronies would not be able to identify it. Ex.- "In the begining, all was Chaos. From the Chaos, two sister - goddesses were born, and together they tamed Chaos, and brought Harmony to Creation." Do you think anypony would be interested in something like that?
I would like some help to write my fanfic if it is not to much of a bother. I can't write that much with the current state of my arms. Rashall, if you are intrested, I can give you more details about the characters and the story.
Well, you could always read fanfics and provide criticism :3 It'd be easier than writing the whole fanfic for someone. Not to mention, under those circumstances, the writing is... well, ours ^^ Do you do that on request at all?
