So... um... Squirtle just did this. Is there like Pokemon jail? Is every fight in the new season going to involve screaming pokemon? Cause that's going to get uncomfortable REAL quick.
I didn't like Delphox's design at first, but then I realized it's a fox Dephine. That's pretty cool and I've since warmed up to it.
Wow no. This isn't the new season. This is a special that's supposed to be closer to the manga, detailing RED's story. (the story of the original pokemon game) It has zero connection to the actual show. It's four mini-episodes (the start of the journey, the spirit of marowak from the tower, team rocket, and the pokemon league) that have so far only premiered in japan, and have not yet been translated into english. Due to american culture, the screaming will most likely be altered in our version.
pokemon ranting time! I've always loved water types (no surprise there) :derpe: Fifth gen. was pretty good, with tons of water types to choose from like the starter Samurott Carracosta with its massive defense stat. Third gen. was far and away the most awesome though, I've replayed Emerald at least 20 times (not in a short span of time, just since I've had it). Swampert shall forever be my favorite pokemon, nothing will ever change that. Also, one time for a school presentation I had too much time left over so I had to improvise, and I performed what everyone at my high school now knows as the "Jigglypuff song", which just basically consists of me going "Jigglypuff, Jigglypuff, what?" in a pseudo-gangsta' voice.
I had a hunch that Fennekin would become another furry thing and/or fire/fighting. I was right. I actually liked Fennekin until Delphox. Now Chespin4life.
Nah man, fire all the way. >w> I hate water pokemon, especially the frog and fish ones. But ignore the fact that Poliwhirl is my favorite pokemon.
On the other hand, you don't have to wait until after Elite 4 to get pokemon from previous generations.
I was disappointed at the low number of Kalos pokemon too and I still am, but then I thought about it. GameFreak had more than 600 pokemon to model in 3D suitable for the game. (Yes, I know there's that Pokedex thing, but still...). Maybe that took up most of their time. Still, a few more couldn't have hurt. We only get two new electric types and one of them is a Pikachu clone.
69 new pokemon- They revealed officially 42 before the game has been released- Pretty sure that's a world record for spoilers (percent wise) for any game ever.
Okay so the game is coming out tomorrow and I still haven't decided on a starter. All I know is that I have seen Talonflame and I think I may be in love.
So... I'm probably getting the game today. I've decided to get both grass starters because I'm in love with Chesnaut, and as a personal rule for any pokemon games, any and all chances at a Venasaur must be sought out excessively. I'm probably doomed in whatever the first forest is because bug types, but whatever.
