PONIES the Anthology II

Longer than an hour... Does this mean we can't request it on the radio?

 

I watched ze whole thing.

To me, the style seemed to shift a bit from parody to synching scenes from the show with music or theme songs, more like Super Pony Time than the original Anthology. It wasn't bad, but the individual scenes were longer and it lost a lot of that punchy humor that I liked about the first one. So overall it was a bit more dull. They also recycled a few jokes from the first one, which didn't help.

Not to mention, it was almost an hour and a half. For a youtube video, or any parody video really, it's just way too long to be re-watchable.


But when it was good it was really good, and overall it was an hour(+) well spent. Sorta.

 

No, I don't have the time to watch the KOTH collab. There is no way I can watch this thing in one sitting.

 

I know what I'm doing tomorrow.

Geez, an hour? Hopefully it's decent.

 

I got a good laugh throughout the whole thing, but I also felt there were several instances where it fell flat. Some of the music bits I thought just didn't fit very well, but then again, everyone's a critic.

 

I got a lot of laughs out of it so I'm satisfied. I will probably watch it again, but I'll just skip through because it's like watching a full movie. I thought the first anthology was long enough at 24 minutes.
