......... I just finished it.... And I was right... The whole season... I knew it... I knew it. But, wow. Missy is the Master, turning all the dead into Cybermen... But... What did you think of it?

I finally got to see it!

It's pretty good so far, even if I did figure out the Missy/Mistress/Master weeks ago.

I can't wait to see where they go with this.

And I just watched the second part.

I can't say I'm unhappy to see Clara go, but I would have preferred a happier ending for her.
With her saying multiple times that Danny Pink was the only man she'd ever love, his sacrifice to save the kid basically ensured that she'd be alone forever.

I'm rather curious about what happened to Missy.
The energy when the Doctor "killed" her looked a lot more like a teleport than a death ray.
It certainly didn't look like what happened when she killed people with the device.

I was impressed by how they managed to bring the Brigadier back for a cameo, even after Nicholas Courtney's death in 2011.
The fact that the Doctor saluted him in the end was both a fitting finale for the character, and a great tribute to the man who played him.

    Also... SANTA CLAUS!

I know a lot of people are still on the fence about Capaldi, and I'm really hoping that the next series, without Clara, will prove to others what I already know:
Peter Capaldi's Doctor is absolutely one of the best ever.
