This is a thread with information about the characters in a fanfic I am about to write. I would like to thank everypony for offered support, even with my crazy ideas . Mane cast: Prince Darkmoon Born into the royal family, Prince Darkmoon is a young alicorn and a distant relative of Celestia. Darkmoon is very talented with magic, but also prideful and lazy, he do not study that hard as he relies on his natural gifts as an alicorn rather than hard work. He was at first the primary candidate of being Celestia's apprentice, but was later beaten to the post by the unicorn Twilight Sparkle. Darkmoon was shattered by these events and have since viewed Twilight as his primary rival, though a friendly rivalry based on admiration. After Luna's return to Canterlot, Darkmoon was selected as her personal student. To Luna's delight, Darkmoon possesed similiar abillities as the ones she used. An abillity to produce powerful illusions and influence behavior, a more subtle sort of magic than the one Celestia taught. Darkmoon could even enter the dreams of other ponies, in the dreamworld Darkmoon felt his powers increase tenfold. This earned him the title of Dreamwalker. This connection to dreams had always been a talent of Darkmoon, he got his cutie mark at an early age after a most peculiar dream, a dark moon outlined by white. Though at the time he had not understood what he had done to earn it. One day, reports of horrible recurring nightmares in Ponyville reached Canterlot. Luna, being in charged of protecting dreams in Equestria sent Darkmoon to investigate. To Darkmoon's suprise, he found the six champions of harmony being the ones most affected. After a time focusing on investigating the dreams of these six, including his rival Twilight, he became a good friend to all of them. Darkmoon especially liked to spend to with the pegasus pony Rainbow Dash, who he had been a great admirerer of since she become famous with her sonic rainboom. Even though Darkmoon was far from a good flyer, he and Rainbow spent some time flying in the moonlight, since Rainbow had such a hard time sleeping since the nightmares began. Darkmoon never told anyone, but he thought he got a crush on Rainbow Dash, though he did not know if she felt the same way. Though the situation got worse with the nightmares. The champions of harmony was haunted by demonic versions of their friends. Rainbow Dash herself was plagued by a dark and psychotic Pinkie Pie, causing Rainbow to avoid her while awake. This way the friends were isolated. Darkmoon reported this to Luna, who believed a malevolent force, set to destroy harmony in Equestria was behind it. Who none could say with Discord still locked up. In Canterlot the same phenomena started to appear, with Celestia herself falling victim, and refused to leave her room. In Ponyville, many of the six fell into a complete trance. Darkmoon was heartbrooken to see Rainbow Dash locked into her room, trembling on the floor day and night, eternally mumbling about cupcakes. Only one remained unaffected, Pinkie Pie, who simply dealt with nightmares by laughing. Darkmoon saw no other solution, despite the risk, he had to enter the dreamworld and confront the evil power. While Pinkie Pie dealt with the demonic version of herself that were haunting Rainbow Dash, Darkmoon faced-off with the power behind it all, a six-winged white alicorn who possessed the same power he had, a pony who called himself Order. Luna Mentor of Darkmoon and beloved princess of the night The Mane 6 Everyone knows these already. The Nightmare 6 Evil versions of the Mane 6 who appears in nightmares.(Do anyone have any ideas for these?) Order (Former King Sunlance) During olden times, all of Equestria was ruled by the demon Discord, the earth ponies of the land only playthings to his whims. This was until the arrival of a group of refugees, seeking a new home after a great cataclysm. These refugees were the alicorn, ponies with the power of the gods in their hooves, capable of powerful magic, flight and manipulation of weather, as well as having the gift of immortality. The leader of the alicorn expedition, a hero of legend, Lord Sunlance, together with his two daughters, only foals at the time , led a mighty force into Equestria, carving his own kingdom from the outher edge of Discord's domain, crowning himself king. The rule of King Sunlance was at first very popular with the earth ponies, bringing order were before was only chaos. Sunlance's kingdom prospered for several hundred years, the earth ponies mating with the alicorn, producing the subspecies of unicorns and pegasi, though these relationships in Sunlance's opinion was a discrace to the purity of alicorn blood. During this time Sunlance's daughters, Luna and Celestia were schooled in the arts of politics, magic and proper manners, they gained the trust of the non-alicorn population, becoming the champions of the common pony at Sunlance's court. This was until the small kingdom got noticed by Discord, who sent his forces to reclaim the land. Thanks to Luna and Celestia mastering a weapon from the alicorn's old homeland, the Elements of Harmony, a weapon even Sunlance were unable to use, the invading army were pushed back and peace was restored. Now the king, ordered an invasion to liberate Equestria from Discord once and for all. Sunlance believing, the cause justify the means, increased taxes to an unheard level to fund the war. The ponies were starving, turning to the regal sisters to take up the issue with their father. Though Sunlance, being consumed by hunger for power, banished the sisters from the land after they refused to use the Elements if he did not lower taxes. After this, the king fell completely into madness, seeing himself as a god, only responded to the name Order. He was getting obsessed with controling every aspect of his kingdom, the pegasus were to follow his design when it came to weather, the earth ponies became serfs to the alicorn aristocracy, unicorns warmachines in battle. Relations between alicorn and other ponies were forbidden and he brought zebra from their home to serve as slaves to improve his war effort against Discord. What he did not suspect though was that he was just a puppet of Discord, who planned to saw the seeds of civil war. One day the regal sisters returned, tired of the evils in their old homeland, and gathered a massive following of ponies to rebel against Order. It was now Order's dark nature became apparent, he used a power unique to him, a power to influence dreams to crush the spirits of the rebels with nightmares. With no supporters, Luna and Celestia was forced to confront their father alone. After a great battle, Order was defeated by the Elements, but tried to escape justice at the hooves of the regal sisters and fled into the dreamworld, but was sealed from entering Equestria again by the elements. Now began the time of the regal sisters, and their accomplishments in defeating Discord and uniting Equestria is a legend on it's own.
