Slamacow, this thread is tops! I love Adventure Time. Probably just as much as I love MLP (although Adventure Time doesn't have as awesome of a fan-base, unfortunately). LSP is definitely my favorite character. Pretty much anytime she's on screen is absolutely hilarious. I think it's a tie between The Monster and Belly of The Beast for my favorite episode. One of the best moments in the whole series Also, I'm so psyched for the Fionna and Cake episode. Mainly because of Niel Patrick Harris, I freaked out when I heard him on the trailer for the episode.
I admit, I haven't given the show much of a watch. It just seems so....odd. However, I did see a clip that had some sort of song in it. The two main characters were evicted from their home (I guess), and they were looking for another. It was quite a catchy song. I'll be sure to check it out!
What an algebraic thread! I love Adventure Time! LSP is my favorite character. I'm actually going to be her for Halloween complete with purple body paint and purple balloons taped all over myself. LSP is just hilarious. I think her voice is what makes her so ridiculous. I can't decide on a favorite episode. The Eyes, Memories of Boom Boom Mountain and Monster are up there. I was actually going to post the Wolf Drama scene as my favorite, but I figured you'd want to do that so I didn't. Irony at its best. I also thought for sure you'd post this scene. You let me down, Dr.! I think the fact that it's so strange is a large part of why it's such an enjoyable show. It makes no sense, which is great for those times when you just need to not take anything seriously. Also, I think this is the song you're thinking of.

Not nearly as... well, i just feel like they're not very connected. MLP fandom is like, "WE'RE BASICALLY ONE BIG FAMILY, YOU GUYS." And Adventure Time is like, "You like Adventure Time, too? That's cool.... -nothing else to say-" HAHAHAHAHA. The small little moments that aren't important at all are often the BEST PARTS of all the old episodes. THAT HORSE PART HAS ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH. I'm glad you feel the same. xDD --------- DEFINITELY. DEFINITELY give this show a try. It is random, and it looks (from the commercials) like it's meant for kids to watch. So people think that's it's going to be lame or something and they don't give it a try. It's like MLP. When someone first tells you that it was an awesome show, you don't exactly believe them. But when you give it a chance, IT'S THE BEST THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN. Haha. You just have to sit down and watch a whole episode. Tidbits and commercials don't do the show justice. I suggest watching "Wizard" first. It's one of the earliest episodes and one of my favourites.

So that's why LSP is so incredulously spectacular. And i LOVE that her best friend's name is Melissa. (COUGHbecauseit'smynameCOUGH) I love the part (well, any part, really) with Peppermint Butler. Yeah, i know, right? When i found that out, i thought it was so awesome! LSP and some background characters are voiced by him, and he sings some of the old songs in the episodes. Though, the only one i can think of is the one where they're looking for a new house. I KNOOOOOW. I said that exact same thing when i learned his name! It's such a hipster name. Fitting. xD I didn't even understand how someone's name could be that cool. My last name is ridiculous. ^^

Yeah, i know! It's unfortunate when toolish people have awesome names. Such a waste. :I Yeah! I just feel like... AWESOME things need to have matching AWESOME fandoms. And MLP is the only one that has truly met that standard. Sad. The only other fandom that i've found to be even slightly comparable is Harry Potter. Everyone's nice to each other, and when they get together for an event (Midnight premieres [strike]are[/strike] WERE *sniff* like family reunions. Only everyone actually wants to see each other. xDD) they care. But people in different Houses can be really catty towards each other. And everyone else is like, "GUYS. Four Houses make one Hogwarts. WE'RE AAAAALL IN THIS TOGEEEETHER." They have to be frequently reminded. :<
I inconveniently have a night class every Monday (Don't they know when the new Adventure Time episodes air?!), so I'll be recording it and watching it as soon as I get back to my dorm.
I love Adventure Time! The random, zany, offbeat jokes are just amazing. The animation style is actually pretty well done. It feels like with each episode they do, it only gets better! The characters are all likeable in their own way, as well. My favorite characters would have to be Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline. Embedded within this sentence are a few of my favorite scenes from the show.
