I just got done watching the first two episodes of Toriko but I don't have a opinion on it yet other than the fact that the food on the show looks good so yeah what is the show like?
Outlaw Star (based on your interest in Cowboy Bebop) One Piece (because I recommend One Piece to everything that breathes, as it's my favorite) Clannad (If you're interested in romantic comedies with beautiful animation, hilariousness, and feels) Negima! manga (seriously, the anime is awful compared to the manga) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (if you enjoy the concept of giant mechs combining with everything and literally being powered by the pilot's unbridled awesomeness) FLCL (off-the-wall craziness and funny) Rurouni Kenshin (awesome samurai anime) Yu Yu Hakusho (kickass supernatural action anime) Kekkaishi (anime about priests who use spiritual barriers to combat demons. The plot really expands from that, though)
I haven't watched it yet, but Blood-C was made by the same studio as Blood+. http://www.watchcartoononline.com/anime/blood-c
I have read the Naruto manga, that's what made me search for the anime in the first place, Unfortunately I had to switch between different English translations so the dialogue was messy at times, but by god did it teach me something about art!!! Seriously, the manga single-handedly helped me improve everything like anatomy, outfits, backgrounds, creatures etc almost 80% after I'd finished them. Also thanks very much for the recommendations! I'm really looking for stuff to watch right now so It really helps~ :3
If you're not against long reads, One Piece is, in my opinion, one of the best. If you were to ask why, it would be hard to describe. It's really free-spirited and adventurous, has tons of hilarious moments, but **** gets real when the time comes, with really tense battles and backstories that get your feels overflowing. The combination of these backstories and the character qualities of the villains (usually despotic, sadistic, and without any concern for their follow man) makes their defeats, oh....oh SO satisfying. The more cartoony art style puts a lot of people off, but really, I find that to be part of it's charm. You also have to kind of accept their trippy world logic sometimes, usually when it comes to fruits somehow granting their consumers supernatural powers at the expense of their ability to swim (the sea makes them weak and limp). All-in-all, the series has charm, lots of humor, epic fights, a HUGE world, tons and tons of unique characters, and is just pure adventure through and through. I will say, though, that it does start off a little slowly, but that's not a big deal to me. And Naruto's art taught you a lot, huh? One Piece has some good art too. Spoiler: One Piece art And if you're looking for good art, then I really must insist on the Negima! manga. That has some of my favorite manga art of all time. Spoiler: Negima! art
Did I say Naruto??!!!!! I MEANT NEGIMA. I could have sworn I typed Negima what the holy hell! I actually hate Naruto with a passion, heck knows what compelled my fingers to spell that out! I've read NEGIMA. Also, with One Piece, I could never get passed the noodly anatomy style. D: I'm a bad person.
Aw that's a real shame.... OP is one of the best in terms of characters, world building, and storytelling.
I never really bothered watching anything else than Naruto, but i have seen clips of a few other animes, and so far i'd have to say One Piece would be my least favorite (though not necessarily bad).
*sees anime thread Any cool anime I should watch? (A good anime with love, adventure or onichan action would be cool) My completed anime list from the top of my head. (I'm probably forgetting a good amount) oreimo Angel beats eureka My little monster Evangelion Girls bravo (if u know wut I mean) Popotan!!!!! Chobits Oh my goddess Bleach Clannad Lucky star Mobile suit g gundam Dragonball z Blue Gender Death note Sword art online Elfen lied Ef a tale of memories & melodies Cowboy bebop Gunslinger girl Kiss X sis sekirei His and her circumstances Yuyu hakusho Ghost in the shell Highschool of the Dead .hack//Sign (There is another love anime with angels and demons but I can't remember the name) I also read love/adventure/carefree manga
Slayers .hack//Sign Trigun The Big O Fist of the North Star Samurai Champloo Cromartie High School KILL la KILL Nichijou Soul Eater
That is by far the weirdest anime i've ever seen... (not counting animes with "WTF Japan, seriously?" moments)
Just watched the link. I loved every moment of that. I see Ponies the Anthology took a scene from it.
I just finished watching the first three episodes of Attack on Titan and so far i'm liking the show a lot.
Spoiler: Massive Spoilers, you were warned GangsterRarity I liked Attack on Titan up until the female titan happened. After that it was like watching Battlestar Galactica with me spouting off 'Everybody's a titan!' every episode.
Did kinda seem like that didn't it? And at the end after the credits...I have no idea where the plot is headed, but I'll watch it anyway for the sheer badassness. On another note, I started getting into the bakemonogatari series and am about halfway through monogatari. Not too many other shows have gotten me so intrigued to find out what's going to happen next. It's zany and kind of hard to follow at first, but once you get used to their peculiar style of presentation it's hard to stop watching. I also found out one of the sites I use has a bunch of movies on it, so I've been watching all the old studio Ghibli movies that I missed back in the day. They're all worth a watch but Spirited Away is still my favorite hands down.

GAT > GCT Just finished watching the new episodes of Kill la Kill... freaking awesomesauce as usual. Also got done watching Chuunibyou demo Koi ga ****ai! (shi.tai - swear filter is getting a bit ridiculous...) which was a treat. It's a rom-com but it's rather different than what you normally find in that genre, it lacks a lot of the boring cliches. However, in the second season it devolves into an unrealistic and predictable haem/slice that is nothing but a cluster**** of cliches, bad writing and unnecessary ecchi. Shame. Selling out is bad, mmkay... Also... this: This needs to happen.
