    Totally forgot to list these two, as well as Neon Genesis Evangelion. However, NGE can be very hard to follow, and all of its religious themes might be more off-putting than even the violence and depravity that can be found in the Berserk manga.

    Panty & Stockings is, the Boondocks... not so much, but the creator did say anime influenced him.

    OT: I no longer watch anime, but I did like the series I saw, I preferred Shoujos, Harems, and "Girly" animes the most, my favorite were: Panty & Stocking, Oriemo, Negima, Love Hina, Sakirei, DragonballZ, Inuyasha, Soul Eater, & The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. If it wasn't for going to an anime con, I most likely would never became a brony, but I no longer like anime.

    I enjoyed Fooly Cooly, Death Note, Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist, Elfen Lied, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Evangelion, and Inuyasha A LOT.
