    Alien: Resurrection
(1997) - What do you get when you mix efforts of a French director with comic-book style execution with the man who gave us Firefly? THIS mess. Both of them, despite their awesome talents, should not have been associated with such a famously dark sci-fi/horror franchise as Alien. Too much comedy and general quirkiness, and over-the-top and just plain weird moments that simply don't fit.

Iron Eagle II (1988) - No! NO! Killing off our hero of the first film in just a matter of a few minutes into this one?! Doug Masters was the star, NOT Chappy! He was just his "help". Thank goodness some writer with a heart found a way to bring him back in the fourth film (ejected from his plane before it got hit by the missile).

Aces: Iron Eagle III (1992) - Double-U. Tee. Eff. Did. I. Just. Watch. So let me get this straight, not only does this continue to be Chappy being the big hero now, but vintage propeller-driven air-show fighters are somehow able to overcome the advanced technology incorporated with modern fighter jets, simply due to the "skill" of the pilots of said vintage aircraft? That is the most absurd concept I've ever heard and seen!

Live Free or Die Hard (2007) - Flows like every other modern action film I've seen (which I hate for many reasons, including excessive CGI, shaky camera, and trying to be overly "epic", basically lacking subtlety and just spoon-feeding the audience mindless style over substance.)

Worthy mentions, despite technically not being sequels:

The AVP movies - An idea that should never have left comic-form. Just your everyday mediocre sci-fi slashers. That and I'm personally not a big fan of Predator, so seeing them with xenomorphs in the same film was pretty irritating.

The Star Wars prequels - For reasons everyone else complains about, plus I hate excessive CGI effects.

I know I should say "Highlander II" in this thread (the theatrical version especially), but instead I will be honest and say that I actually enjoyed it, despite its many flaws. The Renegade Version is pretty awesome, actually. I'd rather watch this than the other sequels that followed. Not a fan of the Animated Series either, but it was a good effort. I've never actually seen the live-action TV shows yet, so I can't comment on those.
